Blood contains many red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets which help blood clotting when we bleed.Oxygen is transported around our body from the lungs through the red blood cells and make the blood red in color. Many foods are wonderful sources of iron like breast milk, child cereals, liver, prune juice. Eggs, beef, chicken, fish, soybeans, turkey, peanut butter, dried beans and lentils are highly excellent sources of iron. Tuna, apricots, oatmeal, raison, prunes, spinach and greens are all excellent sources of iron. Virtually all cases of grim iron incompetency in young children involve those children who drink too much cow’s milk. Anaemia can be made worse if a kid drinks too much cow’s milk. This is due to iron being lost thru the abdominal tract making it complicated for their body to use the iron that’s’s present, a kid should not have more that 32 oz. Of cows milk per day.
