How To Become A Clairvoyant

Posted by: Simon Pegg   in Health and Well Being

Clairvoyance is a paranormal term originating in the French language. In French, ‘clair’ means ‘clear’, and ‘voyance’ means ‘vision’, so a ‘voyant’ is a visionary. Therefore, ‘clairvoyance’ means ‘clear vision’ and a ‘clairvoyant’ is someone who is a ‘clear visionary.’ Unfortunately, this literal translation is neither helpful nor really accurate.

One thing that further complicates the definition is the fact that the term ‘clairvoyant’ has been used over the years to refer to different things. ‘Clairvoyant’ has gradually been used as a term that applies to an individual that displays various ranges of psychic or paranormal abilities. The definition that accurately sums up what a clairvoyant is a person that is able to know specific thins about a person, location, event, or object with a means other than the five physical sense. In summary, clairvoyance refers to the use of ESP or extra-sensory perception.

Clairvoyance normally involves a clairvoyant individual knowing about something that is taking place at that time or in a far away location out of the range of any physical sense. There have been plenty of cases documented about a clairvoyant having knowledge of something that occurred in the future or in the past. Many people consider clairvoyance to be a form of precognition or prophecy.

The methods by which the clairvoyant gathers the hidden information can vary, but they usually fall into one of six major categories. Clairvoyance is probably most associated with the first form. The first form is known as remote viewing. While remote viewing, the clairvoyant is able to see a person, event, object, or location that is hidden. This usually takes the form of a visual hallucination or seeing something from within their minds eye.

The next form of clairvoyance is called clairaudience. With clairaudience, the clairvoyant is able to gain the information about a remote event through sound. They are able to hear noises and voices that others and recording equipment are unable to. In cases where a clairvoyant hears the voices of the dead, this phenomenon crosses the line and enters into the mediumship.

The third type of clairvoyance is clairsentience. In clairsentience, the person gains knowledge though touch and feeling. In some cases this may take the form of feeling actual object that are not there. In other cases, it is more a feeling or ‘vibe’ that the clairvoyant feels from particular remote people, locations, or events.

The fourth form of clairvoyance is clairalience. In this, the clairvoyant is able learn about remote events or locations through their sense of smell. As an example, they may smell the wildflowers and grass of a peaceful meadow, then the smell of gunpowder and blood. Nobody else is able to smell these different things and there appears to no source for the different scents.

The next and fifth type of clairvoyance is known as clairgustance. In clairgustance a clairvoyant with an empty mouth is able to taste different flavors even though there is no obvious source. These clairvoyants are able to precisely describe the different taste of things from a distance.

The last and sixth type of clairvoyance is claricognizance. This type is perhaps the hardest one to explain and define. With claircognizance an individual somehow knows something about a location, person, event, or object and they are unable to explain how they got the knowledge. They jut know it. To some degree, claircongnizance is known as the catch-all category of clairvoyance.

There are many documented occurrences of clairvoyant people throughout history for various cultures from across the world. Clairvoyance has also been incorporated into various religions across the globe.

In Buddhism for example, clairvoyance is considered of the six special senses humans are capable of at advanced levels of meditation. In this case, it refers to being able to feel vibrations put out by other people.

In the Catholic religion, clairvoyance often been considered to be miraculous. Saint Francis had a disciple, Saint Claire that had a vision of his death even though she was miles away. This case took place over 500 hundred years ago. As a result, the Catholic Church made her the patron saint of ‘television’ which means ’seeing over a distance.’

There are plenty of people that are skeptical of clairvoyance. It is human nature for people to deny that something exists just because they don’t understand it. Take for example the scientists that not so long ago denied the existence of electricity or magnetism.

No matter what is said by the skeptics, no one can disprove clairvoyance and there are increasing amounts of evidence to show that there are many clairvoyants among us. In general parapsychologists, scientists and the general public are becoming increasingly open-minded and are ready to accept the reality of clairvoyance.

Even though we don’t know how this all works, there is absolutely no reason to ignore that the phenomenon exists. There are some people that think all humans had the ability to be clairvoyant in the distant past, but somehow lost their abilities. These same people think that is possible for people regain these talents if they were to make some effort to develop the powers.

Causes And Treatment Of Acne Scars

Posted by: Geraldine Spencer   in Health and Well Being

Acne is a big issue particularly for females as they appear without any prior warning and leave a lot of ugly scars. Notwithstanding your dislike for it, acne can not be avoided by a normal teenager and considerable care is needed in order to remove these scars and stopping them from appearing again.

Acne is an infection caused due to the reaction of bacteria and too much of sebum released by the skin glands. In the healing stage of this infection, a protein called collagen is created under the skin. On the amount of collagen falling low, small depressions are created on the face and on its amount being excessive, visible protrusions appear. Either of these eventualities can give rise to acne scars. Adolescents usually suffer a lot more than others as the levels of hormones increase rapidly at the time of puberty leading to increased secretion of sebum.

Some of the typical reasons that result in an acne infection include intake of medicines, regular use of oral contraceptives, applying beauty products that do not go with the skin type and hereditary reasons. Various other factors such as anxiety, unhealthy eating habits, and even pollution can result in acne. However, contrary to common perception, there is no scientific link between spicy or fast food and acne.

Despite availability of numerous herbal skin-care products and lotions for the treatment of acne available in the stores, it is better to consult a skin doctor if the infection aggravates or appears repeatedly. Avoiding pressing the lesion or poking it with any pointed object is a must to avoid worsening of acne.

Many people have now started looking for medical procedures in order to make acne scars disappear and to obtain a spotless skin again. In addition to surgery and laser treatment that are two of the most successful cures in making acne scars go away, there are numerous other new therapies too. You should see a good skin doctor who would be able to identify your skin type and suggest a proper treatment.
