What are you really paying for when it comes to buying really well advertised skin care for wrinkles? Why, the advertising of course. Many skin care products are widely advertised in glossy magazines, on television and all kinds of media and they are also terribly expensive, yet don’t seem to work as they should!

This is because the money you pay for them does not go into additionally active ingredients being added into the products, it goes into the expensive research and advertising campaigns and this is all just hype, it is not about good skin care at all.

Getting the best possible result you can out of skin care for wrinkles is far more important than paying the earth for it. Many of the more expensive products promise you results, you try them and voila, they are not all they are cracked up to be. You have to understand that there are some excellent products on the market that are genuine in their attempt to improve the appearance of your skin and they just so happen to be mid-priced.

Improving the quality of your skin includes firming, toning, evening out discolorations, and reducing fine lines and bags under the eyes. If you find a product which can achieve all these results, you will have found a product which suites your own skin type. Regular use of the product will allow you to have a far more youthful appearance. When you look younger, you feel younger too.

Even so there are still a huge amount of different products available and it is difficult to know what skin care for wrinkles to use. Education is the key, finding out about the products which contain ingredients you shouldn’t use and by the same token finding out which products contain the ingredients you should use.

Cosmetic surgery is very popular; and let’s face it, this is a billion dollar industry, but not all of us has the means or wants to undergo painful cosmetic surgery in order to look our best. Topical skin care is a far better option if you ask me, I don’t like the idea of some doctor slicing me up to improve my appearance and neither do many other women.

Ignore Your Incredible Mind Power If You Don’t Want A Life!

You probably didn’t know it, but your mind is actually far more powerful than you think. Like a magnet, what it sees and thinks it will eventually bring to itself. This is something called the ‘Law of Attraction’. What the law of attraction basically states is that if you believe something, it’s going to happen. If you want a better life than the one you have now, you have to be able to envision it, feel it, ‘be in it’ in your mind’s eye, and think about it as though it were really happening. Eventually, it will. It’s going to take some practice, likely, but if you persist, you will succeed. Truly, your mind is very powerful and an absolutely amazing instrument of creation.

Every one of us has this power, but most of us don’t think we have the capability to use it. In fact, it’s been shown that we humans only use about 10% of our brainpower, but think about that for a minute. Isn’t that crazy? We usually find something that’s simple, and then stick with it. And in fact, that’s why so many of us struggle with life. Our thoughts are negative because we don’t think that what we want can truly be ours. So what this means is that we continue to attract negativity to us, which of course plays itself right out in front of our eyes.

The truth is, what happens in your ‘reality’ actually happens in your mind first. Whatever you’ve gotten in life so far has been as a result of the power of your mind. Many people say that absolutely everyone has psychic and extrasensory abilities, but that sounds pretty specialized and ‘out of this world.’ What it really shows is that those who have these abilities have learned how to tap into mind power at its fullest. If you want something, you first have to think about it and then it will eventually appear. And this is true whether you want the best or the worst. If you always think about the worst, in other words, that’s what’s going to happen.

I can hear you asking, ‘But what can I do to change things?’ And the fact is, you can begin to increase your mind’s power by doing several things. First of all, do something called visualization. This very powerful technique can help you focus and develop your current mind power state, so that you can literally ‘flip the switch’ and learn how to use it; and learn how to increase it, too.

Visualizing simply means that you sit down and think of images and pictures inside your head, of things that you want. These images can eventually be brought to life in reality, but first you have to start with yourself and ultimately, your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is more powerful than anything else, in that it can really bring your visualizations to life like nothing else. The images in your mind have to be positive because that’s the only way they can get to you. You need to think about how you want your life to be before you try to do this, though.

It may be a help to you if you write everything down on a piece of paper, either in bullet format where you simply list the things you want to achieve, or by creating a story whereby you are the central player, living your best life. What goals do you have for yourself? Write those down so that you have something to shoot for. Then, create visions around those goals. When you write things down, it makes it hard to forget what you’ve visualized and it also helps cement them in your subconscious mind as well.

You can also increase your mind power by doing affirmations. Affirmations are simply little pieces of encouragement that you give yourself as you go throughout your day. It can be a bit of positive encouragement about anything. For example, you can say that you’re going to lose 10 pounds in a month. Keep saying these positive things, and eventually, you’ll see that these things just begin to happen. And it doesn’t matter whether or not you’re used to it at first, either. If you do something for 28 consecutive days, like any habit, it’s going to become natural to you.

There’s also another technique you can use to develop your mind’s power, called ‘entrainment.’ Entrainment is simply synchronization of brain waves using different frequencies through audio technology. Our brains are naturally attuned to doing several different things, one of which is to heal themselves. You can tap into this power even more by using this kind of advanced audio-based technology. You can also enhance your memory and bring into effect the psychic powers you have, which already exist. This is a pretty advanced procedure, but it does work.

Hypnosis, too, is another powerful way to develop your mind’s power. Many people have used it successfully, for example, to quit smoking. The way it works for this is that they simply went to a trained hypnotist who was able to help them access their subconscious and then ‘feed’ them suggestions that told them smoking wasn’t fun anymore, they didn’t crave nicotine anymore, smoking made them feel ill, and so on. Like any kind of subconscious ‘training,’ the hypnosis doesn’t usually work instantly, but it does work as long as it’s done by somebody who knows what they’re doing. Eventually, after several sessions, smokers do indeed have success and can quit by truly really quashing the desire to smoke because their subconscious has also let go of it. The hypnotist was successful in doing this because they got in touch with the person’s subconscious and enabled it to believe that the person in question could quit smoking.

So as you can see, everyone has this type of mind power, but they just have to believe in their abilities. It may not happen overnight, but you can change your life and turn things around if they’re not going so well for you. To do this, you have to be able to direct your energies into the universe and know that what comes back to you is what you have manifested. It all starts with your subconscious mind, and only you can harness the mind power you have. How much do you think you have?

How To Prepare To Quit Smoking

You have to be mentally ready, before you stop smoking. If you are not ready, it will be waste of energy and time to try.

One thing is the mentally part; another is the nicotine withdrawal symptoms. So it might be a good idea to prepare yourself for this part as well.

If you really have the willpower, it is possible to stop smoking without any help; but if you are like most people, you will probably need some help. Today there are a number of nicotine products (e.g. from Nicorette and Nicotinell), which can remove the worst urge to smoke.

Nicotine plaster and nicotine chewing gum are the two most popular nicotine products. Other options are nicotine inhaler, nicotine nasal spray and nicotine tablets.

When you smoke, it is probably often more a matter of habit than a desire. So do you really want that cigarette at the bus stop or after lunch? Or has it just become a really bad habit?

Take a critical look at all the situations, where you smoke. If you do so, you will be able to reduce your cigarette consumption radically. So if you smoke, it will be a deliberated choice.

Do you have any dreams that you cannot afford today? If it is within reasonable limits, you will probably be able to afford it if you quit smoking.

A good way to keep the motivation is to reward yourself (or your family), when you haven’t smoked for a week, a month, a year etc. It will give you the necessary motivation, if you are about to quit the project.

A smoking cessation piggy bank can be a great way to make the reward present. Every evening you put the money, which you normally would have spent on cigarettes, in the piggy bank. Then you can see the result; and soon you will be able to break it and go on a nice vacation.

It might also be a good idea to write down your thoughts down, before you quit smoking. Write about why you have decided to stop, what you think might be the hardest part etc.

When the crisis comes (and it probably will sooner or later), you can read to what you’ve written to get a little encouragement and new motivation. You can also write a quit smoking diary, where you confidentially can write about your ups and downs.
