Constipation can be a terribly painful ordeal. When you are constipated even for a few days it can feel like an eternity. Enemas may take a little getting used to but are very effective and easy to use. Out of all the constipation remedies enemas may be the cheapest at a dollar or two.

Changing your diet is the most recommend way to alleviate constipation. Not only is a change in diet more healthy for you but it will not only cure the constipation but also stop recurrences. A simple addition of foods high in fiber may be all you need to balance out your diet and get you regular again.

Any way you look at it, which ever remedy you choose should stop constipation in its tracks. A word to the wise, if you are constipated for an extremely long time, lets say over three weeks, you may be looking at a bigger problem. You should talk to your doctor.
