Thoughts On Telepathy

Posted by: David A Andrews   in Entertainment

by David A Andrews

Telepathy is when one person transfers their thoughts and emotions to another person often over great distances.

We have been used to using language for such a long time that we find it hard to think of telepathy in the same way. However, there have been several scientists and animal trainers who are completely convinced that animals have the power of telepathy. While you would think this would be a crazy thought, they have amassed a huge amount of evidence to show this is true.

You will also hear about anthropologists who believe that many of the primitive tribes out there today can utilize this power. While it’s not easy to do, they have been able to harness the abilities of telepathy.

The truth of the matter is that telepathy isn’t some esoteric subject. If we would believe that it’s just as reputable as learning a new language, people would accept it much easier. Seriously, we always recognize those who have issues with speech, so why is it so difficult to acknowledge those individuals who possess extraordinary powers. Shouldn’t we consider the people who can’t do it as just having defectiveness?

So knowing this, we have to believe that most of humanity has simply lost their ability to connect with the telepathy that the mind has an available. It should be as easy as the way to respond to music and your other five senses.

Would you believe that telepathy is linked to your sixth sense? Well it is and you may hear some refer to it as the third eye. Whatever name you have for it, telepathy should just come to be second nature.

Have you ever had a gut feeling come over you? Did it end up happening? Telepathy works in many different forms, and often times we miss it for a simple rush or just negative thinking. The problem is when it happens you find yourself wondering why you didn’t pay attention to your thoughts. Then again, there are positive times like a friend you haven’t heard from in a long time calls you within the same week you thought about them. It’s crazy to think about, but things like this happen all the time, yet we overlook them as mere coincidences, even though a mother/child power is accepted.

While there is no real answer as to why humans lost touch with telepathic powers, but it’s usually because we just stopped believing. Then of course there are many religions out there that don’t believe this is a transcendent power from God. Instead religions like Christianity and Islam believe this to be a Satanic tool that has possessed the person with demonic powers.

The debate over this subject continues to surface every now and again, but the truth of the matter is that religions have a lot of power over our civilization. We are taught that our own natural abilities should be pushed aside for the Messiah, the Savior, or the Prophet (depending on your religion).

Do you ever wonder why this is so? A lot of it has to do with the powerful leaders of each religion. While we will say that there are true religious leaders, there are some out there that don’t want anyone else to have the power. Think of it as someone challenging you in your workplace. Do you want to acknowledge that they know more than you do? Of course not, which is why some religious officials do the same thing.

Then of course if it’s not religious talk, you can always turn to the scientific thoughts. Even though we do have open-minded scientists who believe in telepathy, there are some out there who think it’s virtually impossible. The thought behind it is that you cannot taste or touch it, nor numerically measured. Believing this only keeps the positive thoughts at bay.

It’s a big dilemma considering scientists have no problem accepting emotions and instincts. Are these individuals being prejudice? It’s possible, but since scientists can feel emotions and instincts themselves, they consider this okay. When it comes to telepathy though, there is a lot left to be explained, so they don’t acknowledge it.

Some believe it could be that the scientists who oppose telepathy are simply jealous. After all, it doesn’t seem fair that someone could do something like this, which is why they don’t want anyone else to have them. So instead of branding something different, it is always considered an instinctive response.

Maybe we can date back this loss as far as the Tower of Babylon story featured in the bible and the confusion that surrounded languages. Maybe it wasn’t just language that was a setback; maybe people who used telepathy had this problem as well.

Spiderrman Helps Save a Child in Real Life

Spiderman’s popularity continues as always. He is a timeless superheroes and appeals to young and old, with his costumes continually selling well throughout the year.

As you would expect with every well established character, spiderman costumes are available in a huge range of options. They even cater for fully grown males. Perhaps these are men who are reliving their childhood fantasies of always wanting to be a super hero. Whatever the reason sales continue strongly.

The next big-screen version of our hero is due in 2011, with the producers promising many more to follow. We now know that Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man 2 are among the top twenty biggest grossing films of all time, so clearly the producers are not going to stop. It makes sense to stick with a winning formula.

Even a lavish musical based on the superhero is being planned, entitled “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark” which will be reportedly the most expensive production in Broadway history. Featuring songs from U2, the musical is sure to be a great hit.

Spiderman can also take credit for a real-life rescue. A Thai fireman dressed in a Spiderman costume rescued an eight-year-old autistic boy who climbed out of a third-floor classroom window. Teachers failed to coax the child back and a remark by the boy’s mother regarding his passion for Spiderman inspired one fireman to rush back to the fire station where he just happened to keep his Spiderman costume in his locker!

When the boy saw the fireman he smiled and promptly threw himself into his superhero’s arms. It transpires the fireman keeps a Spiderman costume in his locker to liven up fire drills in schools.

Spiderman also hit the Israeli news headlines this year, when it was reported that Highway police were called to apprehend a man in a Spiderman costume, who was startling commuters by throwing ropes at their vehicles (presumably improvised “web-shooters”) and jumping on top of cars.

The would-be superhero was arrested and, while under investigation, told police he had woken up in hospital wearing the Spiderman costume, with no recollection of how he came to be dressed in it or why he was there. Unsurprisingly, doctors were summoned to assess the man’s mental health.
